Rukmani: Healed and Free
Exhausted, afraid, and empty, Rukmani went to a house church service simply seeking hope. As the church prayed in the name of Jesus, she was set free.
I was bone tired in my body and in my mind — exhausted beyond anything I had ever experienced before. I ached all the time. I couldn't sleep. There was no peace in my home, and I was afraid. I wasn't sure what to do or where to go for help. Something was very wrong, and I just felt empty.
But God opened a door I could never have imagined. I went to a house church service simply seeking hope. And a miracle happened!
As the church gathered around me and prayed with authority in the name of Jesus, I was overcome. Tears flowed; then something I couldn't explain happened to me.
The only way I have to explain it is that I know beyond the shadow of a doubt Jesus spoke to me, and the Holy Spirit moved in my heart. As people prayed for me, I felt the heavy weight of oppression leave my body. I felt free for the first time in a long time! The spiritual bondage I was suffering completely vanished.
Now I have peace and joy. The fear and torment that once controlled me have been replaced by the promise of Jesus that he gave in John 10:10:
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
I am so grateful to the God who lives! He delivered me, He healed me, and He set me free. All glory and honor belong to the Lord, Jesus Christ!
